OLD BUSINESS
- Rachel Kitchen Residence: Unsafe Building Ordinance; any discussion of how to move ahead with inspection and pressure on the bank.
- Conversation with Lori Graaf of the Booster Club.
- Their coin drop date will be moved to Labor Day weekend.
- Code enforcement updates
- Comprehensive Plan Updates from committee meeting on 3/21/2024.
- Update on Saratoga County Hazard Mitigation Plan/Emergency Preparedness Plan committee meeting from 10am on April 4th.
- Updating house numbers on Village residences
- Christmas Decor; Banner supports. Discussion of cost? # of supports needed? # of banners needed? size of banners?
- Forwarded Saratoga Trail Grant information to Deb Flint at the Galway Public Library as per Board member Pam Hyde’s suggestion.
- Roof replacement on the large gazebo in the Village Park will begin as soon as weather permits. Jacques Godbout will be doing the work through Kenyon Brothers Landscaping.
NEW BUSINESS
- Meeting with Town Supervisor J.D. Arnold on Wednesday, March 27th to discuss the positions of Village Justice and Village court clerk.
- Also discussed removal of the 4 town signs at the 4 different limits of the Village.
- 2 Electronic Waste Recycling events happening in April. Both were posted on the Village’s Facebook page and website on March 23rd, 2024. The event on April 13th DOES accept TVs. The event on April 27th does NOT accept TVs.
- Discussion of new, ornamental sign post at the South west corner of the Village Park which will tell people that North, South, East and West Streets exist.
